Help us advocate!

Dedicated to expanding amateur radio in Tennessee, the Tennessee Amateur Radio Association offers essential advocacy and support. Help us keep amateur radio active, enabling us to give back to our members, clubs, and communities.

MARC Field Day 2025 will be Saturday and Sunday, June 28th and 29th at the Saddle & Bridle pavilion in the Maury County Park at 1018 Maury County Park Dr, Columbia, TN.

Field Day is an annual ARRL event that gives HAM radio operators a chance to fine-tune their emergency communication skills. Generators or solar panels, and batteries are used to power transmitters, and portable antennas are set up in the field to put together self-sufficient, working stations quickly. HAMs and non-HAMs alike can get on the air, operating any of the bands and frequencies allowed during Field Day operations. Contacts will be made with thousands of other operators, making it the nation’s largest HAM radio on-air event. Operations will begin at 1:00 pm on Saturday and will continue until 1 PM on Sunday.

This is a great chance to bring family and friends out for a fun-filled weekend and to see what amateur radio is all about. Everyone is invited, so come and join in the fun! We are looking forward to seeing you there! For more information: Check out the MARC website at www.w4ggm.org or Contact Paul Kemp (WB0CJB) (765) 635-8915 wb0cjb@hotmail.com
