The Tennessee Amateur Radio Association (TARA) is excited to announce a valuable opportunity for our members. We are offering free amateur radio testing in collaboration with the Tennessee Valley VE Team and the W5YI testing organization. This initiative is primarily aimed at current TARA members and Tennessee amateur radio operators who are experiencing financial hardships.
Thanks to generous donations from our members, we have secured 5 to 6 spots for testing, which will be fully funded by those donations. This means that individuals who might face financial difficulties can still pursue their amateur radio license without testing fees.
If you are interested in participating in an upcoming testing session or if you would like to contribute financially to help us secure additional testing spots for other members or those in need, we encourage you to reach out to us.
